Exciting opportunity to join Avera as a Radiology Technologist II

$10,000 sign-on bonus

 

Position Highlights:

  • May be eligible for $10,000 sign-on bonus paid out over 24 months
  • Student Loan Repayment: This position may be eligible for Avera’s Student Loan Repayment Program, which helps you pay off your loans and save money. Each month an extra payment of $167 (up to $10,000) from Avera will help pay down your principal balance faster.

Job Summary

The Radiology Technologist is accountable for the proficient operations of the radiographic and CT equipment to provide clinically diagnostic images as directed by physicians.

Education and/or Experience

  • Graduate of a JRCERT approved program required.
  • One or more years of experience as a radiology technologist preferred.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

  • Required upon hire:
    • Registered on the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
    • Advanced modality certification in one of the following:
      • DEXA
      • Computerized Tomography (CT)
      • Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
      • Mammogram
      • Interventional
      • Nuclear Medicine
      • Sonography: Abdomen, Breast, OB/GYN, Vascular, Echocardiogram, Peds or Fetal
  • Basic life support required within 30 days of hire.

Work Schedule

  • Night Shift : Sunday-Thursday, 11:00pm-7:00am, holiday rotation; 80 hours every 2 weeks
  • Night Shift Differential Pay

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

  • $27.50 - $41.50 per hour
