Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Morton Hospital. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing radiology procedures, operating diagnostic radiology and film processing equipment, and preparing patients for procedures. You will work closely with our team to ensure high-quality patient care and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform radiology procedures as prescribed by physicians
  • Operate diagnostic radiology and film processing equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
  • Prepare patients for procedures, verifying correct names, checking patient histories, and verifying correct procedures ordered
  • Evaluate patient needs to prevent potential problems or complaints
  • Administer contrast media and medications as needed
  • Clean and disinfect radiographic equipment and maintain room stock
  • Document procedures accurately and timely
Requirements
  • Current Massachusetts DPH Radiologic Technologist Radiography license
  • Current ARRT registered certification in Radiography with RT(R) designation
  • Current BLS certification
  • Documented training and experience in radiography
  • Documented training and experience in angiography (preferred)
