WHAT YOU'LL DO
BCG’s Knowledge Team (KT) is a key pillar across BCG’s circa twenty global Industry and Functional Practice businesses. KT is a billable, expertise-based, professional services organization. KT plays diverse roles ranging from being staffed in client case teams alongside consulting and other professional services staff, to developing and managing IP specific to functional topic or industry sector-based businesses.

Topic Activation (TA) KT are responsible for developing and deploying content expertise, on specific industries, or functional topics. Highly specialized, they are responsible for creating and enriching BCG's expertise, intellectual property (IP), products and tools, and providing expertise to our consultants, on an ad-hoc basis, as well as through deeper engagements in client or internal projects.

* Advise on available learning resources, aligned with developmental needs and career trajectory
* Explore and suggest other developmental actions such as case staffing, external exposure, networking, senior stakeholder engagement, etc.
* Coach and guide TA KT throughout their career lifecycle on options and opportunities (potential moves to Client Focus KT career path, or to other roles within BCG etc.); act as a trusted advisor to guide individuals to outcomes beneficial to the individual and the business

Advise KT Managers on Career Development (CD) activities:
* Provide guidance to TA KT Managers on Career Development activities e.g. help them interpret feedback and advise on developmental implications for themselves and their team
* Provide guidance and quality assurance (where requested) to KT Managers on individual CD dossiers, ensuring best practice and clear messaging to individuals

Deliver insight to KT Leadership and People Management Team
* Provide visibility to KT business leadership, KT HR Leadership and KT Learning & Development about KT TA developmental needs; recognize patterns, so that offers are adapted and enhanced accordingly
* Work with KT HR, KT Learning & Development and Career Development teams to determine broader needs around learning, expertise building, and career growth
* When identifying employee relations issues, partner with Regional HR and KT Managers to address and resolve

You will be a key interface to TA KT members, you will advise on developmental needs and career options. You will work jointly with KT Managers, so that accurate developmental actions are defined and executed.
