Respiratory Therapist, CRT or RRT
Shift: PRN, Nights

As a Respiratory Therapist at Newport Medical Center, you’ll play a vital role in doing what you do best- providing quality care to our patients. Requirements:

  • Associate's degree
  • Credential of Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
  • Expected to maintain a CPR certification
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
About the Job:
  • In this position you will assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with pulmonary disorders
  • Collect and analyze sputum, blood, and breath specimens to determine levels of oxygen, carbon dioxide, and other gases. Also measures the lung capacity of a patient to determine if there is impaired function
  • Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Perform a variety of tasks
