Responsibilities:
Manage prelitigation personal injury cases from intake to settlement or referral to litigation.
Conduct initial client interviews and gather necessary information to assess the viability of the case.
Coordinate medical treatment for clients, including scheduling appointments and tracking progress.
Communicate with insurance companies and medical providers to gather relevant documents and records.
Draft and prepare legal documents, such as demand letters and settlement packages.
Maintain accurate and detailed case files, including documentation of all communication and progress.
Assist attorneys with case analysis, research, and preparation for negotiations.
Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing client inquiries and concerns.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred but not required.
Previous experience as a legal case manager.
Knowledge of personal injury law and familiarity with prelitigation processes.
Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple cases simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate and thorough case documentation.
Effective communication skills to interact with clients, insurance companies, and medical providers.
Proficiency in legal case management software is a plus.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Physical setting: In-office
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30a-5:30p
Ability to commute/relocate: San Antonio, TX 78201: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
