JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for assisting with classic FP&A activities, supporting the Finance and Accounting teams on a variety of projects, as well as completing in-depth modeling and business analysis. A significant amount of time will be spent assisting with monthly/yearly forecasting and business plan development.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be a primary contact and business partner with cross-functional areas developing, reviewing, and reporting on budgets, forecasts, and their variance to forecast.
- Assists with Financial Planning activities, variance analysis, and reporting processes by creating, maintaining, and improving financial models
- Monitors and presents financials preparing monthly variance reports, analyzing results, identifying trends, researching cost drivers, and reporting findings
- Prepares ad hoc reports and research trends to drive actionable insights
- Creates and maintains a library of process documentation
- Build and maintain insightful dashboards to highlight areas of focus for upper management
- Be curious and seek out knowledge beyond our immediate business context
- Conducts additional departmental responsibilities as required
REQUIRED EDUCATION/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Highly proficient in Excel (pivots, vlookups, complex and layered formulas, macros, etc.)
- Proficient in Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
- Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to interact at all levels of the organization
- High business acumen
- Ability to learn, understand, and master business rules and processes quickly
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a team, recognize problems, and offer potential solutions.
- Excellent follow-up skills with the ability to work with people at all levels of the organization
- 3+ years of relevant work experience
- Experience in SAP
- Experience building PowerBi Dashboards
