We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Brand Manager of Partnerships to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in building and nurturing collaborative relationships with our key partnership groups, specifically with North American Coffee Partners (NACP) and Pepsi Lipton Partnership (PLP). Our primary objective is to accelerate and execute the coffee and tea portfolios associated with renowned brands such as Starbucks and Pure Leaf.

Key Responsibilities:

As the Brand Manager of Partnerships, you will play a pivotal role in fostering collaborative relationships with key partnership groups, specifically with North American Coffee Partners (NACP) and Pepsi Lipton Partnership (PLP). The primary objective is to accelerate and execute the coffee and tea portfolios in US and Canada associated with renowned brands such as Starbucks and Pure Leaf. This role demands a collaborative team member who can work across a matrixed organization, drive mutually beneficial outcomes, and contribute to the overall growth and success of our organization.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Nurture the relationships with North American Coffee Partners (NACP) and Pepsi Lipton Partnership (PLP)
  • Drive the acceleration of coffee and tea portfolios, ensuring alignment with the strategic vision of Starbucks and Pure Leaf brands
  • Identify opportunities for growth within the portfolios and work collaboratively to execute plans effectively, including leading the launch and commercialization of two new-to-world brands/sublines in their respective Chilled categories
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize collaboration with partnership groups
  • Lead Pricing, Merchandising, & PPA strategy and shopper marketing activation
  • Drive commercialization of innovation and assortment strategy
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform strategic decision-making
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of partnership initiatives
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of partnership initiatives
  • Regularly monitor and report on the progress of partnership programs, making data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred)
  • Minimum 3-6 years experience in Marketing or Business Management in the CPG space
  • Strong understanding of the F&B CPG industry, with experience working on portfolios for well-known brands
  • Must be located in Chicago, IL or willing to relocate to Chicago, IL for the duration of employment
    • Willingness to adapt and thrive in a blended work environment, seamlessly transitioning between remote work and in-office operations as required. The Tropicana team is typically onsite every Tuesday-Thursday.
  • Must have permanent, unrestricted U.S. work authorization (citizen, green card, or unrestricted EAD)
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast pace agile environment with limited direction and balance competing priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to support building strong internal and external relationships and effectively communicate your work product
  • Experience in leading traditional marketing functions, including commercialization of innovation & shopper marketing, with exposure to and understanding of cross-functional areas of expertise (supply chain, pricing, etc.)
  • Extremely versatile, dedicated to efficient productivity
  • Strong project reporting skills, with a focus on interdepartmental communication
