Job Responsibilities

Pennoni is accepting applications for an Inspection Coordinator. This person will be responsible for scheduling personnel performing quality assurance inspection at off-site fabrication shops producing bridge and highway structures for transportation agencies. The Inspection Coordinator will communicate and coordinate with inspectors, fabrication shops, clients, and our entire project team.

The candidate should have experience consistent, but not limited to:

  • Building weekly and daily staffing schedules.
  • Maintaining a backlog schedule.
  • Communicating effectively and professionally verbally, electronically, and in writing.
  • Communicating daily with internal staff, clients, and contractors.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, SharePoint, etc..).
  • Working independently and as part of a team.
Required Attributes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail oriented with very good customer service skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to facilitate weekly scheduling meetings
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, fluid, changing environment.
Preferred Attributes
  • Experience in fabrication inspection, construction inspection and/or scheduling experience.
  • Experience with scheduling software.
  • Experience with steel and or precast/prestressed concrete fabrication.
  • Experience with an evolving and fluid schedule.
