Civil CAD Technician

Westwood Professional Services, Inc.

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a CAD Technician to join our team. Westwood has a highly experienced and dynamic team of individuals dedicated to providing high-level professional services to our clients. This team member will be utilizing Civil 3D to perform plan production for civil engineering projects related to Land Development.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create, edit, and modify CAD drawings
  • Apply Westwood Company CAD standard, practices, and procedures in creating and modifying CAD drawings
  • Collaborate in a team environment
  • Coordinate filing, storage, and retrieval of drawings and documents
  • Work with extreme precision and accuracy in creating design drawings
  • Plot and check drawings
  • Willing to take on other duties as assigned
Required Skills
  • Experience and knowledge of latest version of AutoCAD/Civil 3D
  • Design skills and knowledge
  • Possess basic mathematical skills and analytical abilities
  • Attention to detail, self-motivated and a Team player
  • Working Knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat/Bluebeam
  • Willingness to learn and grow is a must
Required Experience
  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Technical degree or certification in AutoCAD
  • Experience AutoCAD Civil 3D or GIS mapping services
  • Land Development Design Experience
  • 1-5 Years of Industry Experience
Preferred Experience
  • Associate Degree
  • Experience with additional applications (InfraWorks, SITEOPS, BIM, Revit, AutoTurn, AutoDesk 360, etc..)
