Position Summary: As a Clinical Nurse Leader in the Emergency Department, you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to patients, offering clinical leadership to other staff, and serving as a role model to promote a positive work environment and quality patient care. Your patient care assignment may include a range of age groups, and you will ensure adherence to hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Additionally, you will participate in orientation and preceptor training, as well as take proactive measures to ensure patient safety. This role will also involve maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment, administering medication, and encouraging patient participation in their own care.

Qualifications

  • Education: Program Graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Experience: Bilingual in English and another language is a plus
  • Credentials: Current RN license and certifications in CPR, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and specialty area
  • Physical Conditions: Heavy Work: Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently
  • Working conditions: Exposure to hazardous materials requiring personal protective equipment
