Evening Events Associate

Key Responsibilities
1.Ensure total guest satisfaction within Evening Event operations.
2.Actively engage and communicate with guests, staff, and management.
3.Appropriately respond to issues that arise with guests, logistics, or otherwise.
4.Adhere to company standards in cashiering and money handling procedures.
5.Assist management with essential department functions and event details as needed, including but not limited to event setup and breakdown.
6.Transition between job functions seamlessly, accurately, and quickly.
7.Maintaining a clean work environment at all times.
8.Work closely with outside services to ensure Aquarium guidelines, quality standards, and recycling efforts are upheld.
9.Have a working knowledge of Aquarium campus, exhibits, and venue locations.
10.Adhere to the core values and service standards set forth by the Aquarium.
11.Assist other Aquarium and IMAX staff as needed.

Key Requirements
•Previous experience with a Point-of-Sales system
•Experience handling money
•Excellent customer service skills
•Excellent communication skills
•Positive, good-humored, and professional attitude
•Strong multitasking ability and ability to perform well under pressure during events
•Attention to detail
•Ability to complete tasks in a responsible manner independently
•Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds


Part-time; hourly (Mostly evening and weekend work; shifts could range from 1-2 events per month to 1-2 events per week, based on demand and availability.)
