The Project Engineer will assist with various water/wastewater projects. Project market sectors will primarily include municipal utility infrastructure, including pipelines, pump stations, and treatment facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Planning, conducting, and coordinating detailed phases of engineering work
  • Able to document and defend basis for how decisions were reached
  • Actively pursue continuing education opportunities to maintain a high level of technical proficiency
  • Listen and understand client/project needs and develop responsive engineering solutions while maintaining schedules and budgets
  • May supervise and/or coordinate the work of engineers or technicians
Qualifications:
  • Qualified candidates must have 5+ years of experience in a consulting firm.
  • Bachelor's degree in Water/Wastewater Engineering or related engineering field
  • Must have a Florida PE or ability to obtain within 3 months of employment
  • Must have demonstrated evaluation/design experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • Master planning and modeling
    • Sanitary sewer collection systems, and lift stations
    • Water distribution and storage systems
    • Water and wastewater treatment systems
  • Must have working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, hydraulic modeling software, and Microsoft Office
  • Must have experience working closely on a team as well as independently
  • Must have effective time management skills and the ability to delegate work to others when needed
