Helpdesk Engineer

NEOGOV is currently seeking an IT Helpdesk Engineer with 2-3 years of experience working with Network Administration in a fast-paced environment. This Rockstar will be a major part of our culture, mission and growth
What You Will do
- User account creation and management (Active Directory, Cloud services)
- Monitoring and mitigating security threats on corporate workstations
- Configuring corporate workstations for new hires, staff upgrades
- Assist local and remote staff on hardware, software and networking issues
- Assist IT team in the creation of internal-use documentation
- Assist in the upkeep of office meeting room technologies (AV)
- Assist in tasks outside of IT - installing a keyboard tray for example
- Other duties as assigned
- Excellent communicator with equally excellent customer service mindset

- Willing to learn new technologies and promote a culture of service
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- Natural problem solver
- Intermediate understanding of the TCP/IP network stack
- Basic understanding of Cloud-based products
- Working knowledge of Windows networking services (DHCP, DNS, etc...)
- Experience with and knowledge of Dell desktop & laptop product ranges
- Scripting experience - Microsoft Windows Powershell, Python
- Experience in office telephony management (VOIP)
