They will work closely with the Digital Banking Manager to manage and launch digital products and services through gathering, reviewing, and presenting data points from software reports, configuration, and logs. The ideal candidate is a go-getter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for serving others. Proficiency in digital software is a must They should be comfortable working independently and as a contributing member of a team. Meeting deadlines and attention to detail are critical pieces of this position. Our Digital Banking Specialist must embody Pelican's Core Values and provide excellent service in all that they do.

A Day in the Life of a Digital Banking Specialist INCLUDES:

  • Serving as subject matter expert for all software solutions managed by the Project Management Department including Digital Banking, Bill Pay, Remote Deposits, Geezeo (PFM software), Online Lending/Account Opening, eSign Documents and Digital Engagements, Payments, CRMs, and Leads Management.
  • Leading development and maintain knowledgebases for software management including supporting documentation, workflows, product details sheets, roadmaps, change requests, and results identified during testing/troubleshooting sessions.
  • Identifying opportunities to strengthen member relationships and retention by using technology to develop personalized service, self-service tools, and product offerings and training materials.
  • Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of all custom spec files/power-ons associated with Digital Banking custom features and future customizations in order to independently facilitate enhancements or improvements with internal programming staff and vendors.
  • Recommending and staying apprised of digital solutions and available product enhancement.
Digital Banking Specialist Skills and qualifications include:
  • 2-year college degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or another directly related field of study.
    • Additional related experience may be considered in lieu of meeting education requirements.
  • 2 years of directly related experience to include testing, troubleshooting, and providing vendor support and/or software administration with various banking-specific applications.
  • Excellent oral, written, and telephone communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and member service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel.

    • Monday - Friday
      • 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
      • May be required to work a flexible shift to include weekends.
  • Travel
    • Travel is rarely necessary for this position.
  • Work Site Location
    • All work will be performed at our beautiful Corporate Campus located at 2675 O'Neal Lane in Baton Rouge, LA.
