As a Senior Software Engineer on the  Engage Standalone Team, you will get to work on a product that serves thousands of users across the globe connecting and engaging them to leads through email and voice. The responsibilities of this opportunity include:

  • Maintaining and improving the Engage Standalone product to deliver an exceptional experience for our customers. 
  • Resolving complex technical issues.
  • Improving developer productivity and reducing development and release friction through streamlining of processes and adding automations.
  • Work with cutting-edge cloud technologies.
  • Solving interesting and challenging problems alongside a great team of engineers.
  • Growing the capabilities of your teammates by defining and promoting software engineering best practices, including design, documentation, code reviews, monitoring, observability etc.
  • Developing new skills as you push your knowledge, and our technology, to new levels.

A successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • 7+ years of industry experience, B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge and experience with frameworks like .NET Core and programming languages such as C#, Typescript, NodeJS and Javascript.
  • Proven experience with SQL Server - writing efficient queries, designing schemas, and ensuring data security.
  • Proven experience with NoSQL technologies such as MongoDB or DynamoDB - writing efficient queries, designing schemas and ensuring data security.
  • Proficiency in cloud technologies, specifically AWS and GCP, including deploying, monitoring, and scaling applications.
  • Hands-on experience with Redis or similar caching technologies.
  • Familiarity with designing, building, and maintaining RESTful web APIs.
  • Strong understanding of software development best practices, including SOLID principles, design patterns, and unit testing.
  • Experience with logging, monitoring, and alerting tools, particularly Datadog.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex issues.
  • Experience in design, full stack development and delivery of highly scalable SaaS applications.
  • Passion for developing software and continuous improvement.
  • Strong desire to seek pragmatic, innovative solutions to complex business and technical problems. 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with internal teams including customer support, product, and engineering.
  • Deep technical understanding of software engineering and working with data at scale.

Nice to Have:

  • Demonstrable contributions to open-source projects.
  • Experience utilizing CI/CD tooling for automating builds, tests, dependency publishing, and application deployments (Jenkins).
  • Virtualization and orchestration of applications (Docker/Kubernetes/ECS).
  • Experience building microservices architectures.

The US base salary range for this position is $148,000 - $190,000 + variable compensation + benefits.

Actual compensation offered will be based on factors such as the candidate’s work location, qualifications, skills, experience and/or training. Your recruiter can share more information about the specific salary range for your desired work location during the hiring process.
