Job Description

Join a highly reputable Atlanta based firm who is looking for a construction litigation attorney to join their Orlando office. They are seeking adept litigators with a focus on construction defense to bolster the firm's growing team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in construction matters and be poised to dive into challenging cases from day one. Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of construction litigation matters, including drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to develop case strategies and support arguments.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and other dispute resolution proceedings.
  • Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes through alternative dispute resolution methods.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on construction-related issues, contracts, and disputes.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to effectively manage cases and meet client needs.
  • Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on case developments and strategies.
Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from top law school.
  • Admission to the state bar (FL) and in good standing.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing construction litigation.
  • Strong litigation skills, including experience with all stages of the litigation process.
  • Deep understanding of construction law, including contracts, liens, bonds, and regulations.
  • Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
