THE ROLE

The SP Product Team is looking for a Business Analyst who is responsible for aggregating and analyzing data and partnering
with stakeholders to help us make data-driven, strategic, and day-to-day decisions. They will partner cross-functionally with Product Team Management, Buyers, Planners, Allocators, and any other business stakeholders to complete ad-hoc projects and communicate customer and business needs. The Analyst role will build, execute, and analyze reporting/dashboards that facilitate data-driven decision-making across the organization. Specific areas of focus include but are not limited to monitoring the health of allocations and store inventory, optimizing store capacity, managing on orders, and evaluating pricing and promotional actions. This position requires strong attention to detail and openness to projects with ambiguous outcomes.

Range: 65k-83k DOE

HERE'S WHAT A DAY AT WORK MAY LOOK LIKE...
• Developing and analyzing reporting to track KPIs relevant to Buying, Planning, Merchandising
and overall company goals
• Managing and running existing portfolio of standard dashboards and reports
• Applying quantitative methods, data mining, modeling, and analytical tools to solve business
problems across Buying, Planning and Merchandising
• Utilizing a repertoire of available data sets (sales, inventory, traffic, demographics, etc...) to
respond to ad hoc requests with the most relevant and impactful information
• Effectively communicating business analyses and providing actionable recommendations
• Collaborating and building strong business relationships with Buying, Planning, Merchandising,
IT, and other stakeholders
• Leading special projects for Buying, Planning, and Merchandising, or for relevant departments,
on an ongoing basis

ABOUT YOU...

• 3-5 years of business/analytical experience
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to communicate complex ideas and theories to large audiences of diverse skill sets
• Ability to write SQL queries to retrieve, transform, clean & aggregate large amounts of data

IT WOULD BE GREAT BUT NOT COMPLETELY NECESSARY TO HAVE...

• Proficient with business analytics tools including, but not limited to, SPSS, R, Python and Tableau
• Demonstrated competency with advanced statistical methods including but not limited to regressions,
factor analysis, and structural equation models
• Excellent data visualization skills
• Knowledge of Sneaker Industry or Retail
