Role Description

The Director of Global Marketing will develop and execute strategic marketing initiatives for acquisition, retention and growth across the entire Club Car business. This person is the steward of the brand, an important member of the strategy development team and the vision setter for integrated marketing activities.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Champion the Club Car brand globally, in all business segments (Golf, Consumer, Commercial, Aftermarket). Partner with key stakeholders to ensure brand position is clearly identified and consistently promoted across all channels.
  • Partner with Product Management leaders to develop business and marketing strategies that drives growth, market share gains and profitability improvements.
  • Conduct market research that yields insights and understanding of market trends and customers.
  • Participate in the annual strategic planning process to ensure long range plans and strategies align with brand positioning and marketing capabilities.
  • Responsible for the design and execution of a digital demand engine that promotes the category and brand, drives preference and delivers high quality leads to our sales teams and dealer network. This includes web operations, social media, paid generation and marketing automation activities.
  • Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across owned, earned, and paid channels; utilize analytics to ensure insight into campaign effectiveness.
  • Partner with Sales leaders to drive revenue growth and market share gains.
  • Produce annual events calendar in support of the growth of the business. This includes key trade shows, industry events, channel partner events, and internal company meetings
  • Design and execute channel marketing programs that support growth across the global dealer network. Deliver tools, best practices and content that enables dealers to achieve best-in-class commercial performance; manage annual channel partner rebate and co-op programs
  • Collaborate with Global Communications leader to foster Public Relations and Media relationships to promote brand, drive thought leadership and grow brand exposure.
  • Produce compelling content that supports the brand positioning and growth activities of the business
  • Lead Brand Ambassador and Influencer programs to maximize value and return on investment
  • Lead a team of engaged marketing professionals by fostering healthy relationships and an environment where every employee feels valued. Coach/mentor team members for future career growth.
  • Maximize return on marketing investments and champion incremental activities to drive growth
  • Manage overall marketing spend, including monthly financial forecasts and analysis and annual operating plan development.
Qualifications and Key Competencies:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field; MBA preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated history of coaching and developing talent
  • Proven experience developing marketing strategy and delivering results
  • Data-driven marketing mind with strong business acumen
  • Strong skills with digital marketing tools (Web / Salesforce / Eloqua preferred)
  • Previous experience working to enhance sales team and channel performance in an OEM business
  • Previous experience in both Industrial and Consumer products desired
