What you'll do:
- Strategic Product Leadership: You will define and lead the sponsored advertising strategy, roadmap and execution of new products tailored to each B2B business vertical (agents/brokers, builders, and landlords/property management companies), while delivering a shared product platform that scales across our millions of monthly users and has consistent consumer experience. The scope starts with a focus on promoted listings, but will extend to other product offerings as our strategy outlines broader product portfolio growth opportunities
- Advertising Experience: You bring experience and expertise in digital ad products at scale, and an industry perspective of how we leverage our audience for growth and expanded opportunities across our various B2B customer base.
- Horizontal Product Offering: You will lead the sponsored ads efforts as a horizontal product offering across multiple vertical businesses, understanding unique requirements per vertical, but also negotiating for shared capabilities to simplify scaling when needed.
- B2C and B2B Aspects of Product Experience: You will define the end-to-end product experience from the B2C end-user web and app experiences, and other touchpoints (social, CRM), revenue optimization algorithms, and the backend B2B partner tools and dashboard for campaign setup, management, and metrics and performance monitoring.
- Rapid Prototyping and Iterations: You will execute with accelerated iterations, working closely across stakeholders to quickly validate opportunities through rapid prototyping, A/B testing, and MVP delivery.
- Balancing Proven Validation and Vision: Balance validation activities with long-term vision designed to scale and meet company revenue targets.
- Technical Product Design: You have technical experience and understanding of architecture platforms, micro-services, API, search algorithms, and design principles to work directly with lead engineers and get into the details with the backend elements of the solution, ensuring requirements are understood, tested, and delivered on.
- Hands-On Details: You will be in the details, knowing the what and how of the product functionally, technical design, and up/down stream integrations across the organization. You will be crafting product briefs, CX wireframes, user stories, testing use case, solution architecture flow, and data flows, etc, taking full ownership of the end to end delivery while also working in close partnership with design, engineering, and data analytics teams.
- Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration: You will work across multiple business lines GMs, product, design, engineering, search, AI, GTM, revenue, and sales teams to understand functional and technical elements needed to build a solution and deliver a cohesive product offerings that delivers the intended value proposition.
- Influencing Across All Levels: You will be working with all levels of the organization, and can present, influence, and facilitate trade-off discussions with executive management as well as designers, engineers on other teams. You have clear, structured and concise communication, compelling storytelling, and data-driven insights to support your beliefs
- Solution Oriented : Attitude and energy cannot be underestimated as a key factor in the success of the team and the ability to work through challenges. You bring an unwavering positive can-do attitude and are able to maneuver through challenges and roadblocks by thinking out of the box and moving forward with optimism and a positive attitude that sets the tone for the team
- 12+ years in digital advertising product management with deep understanding of the ads products with a track record of driving significant revenue growth.
- You make things happen, even with resource or dependency constraints. You are a driver and find a way to make progress.
- Balance of creative, product, technical, and analytical aptitude and skills to work across diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with outstanding execution
- Comfortable with getting hands-on with details and data, understanding all layers of the solution.
- Strong leadership skills with proven ability to bring together multiple parties and perspectives towards a common goal and get buy-in across cross-functional parties
- Experience working with advertising sales teams to navigate consumer and advertiser value trade-offs.
- Comfortable with ambiguity, thrives in fast-paced environments, and willing to go outside your lane as needed.
- Strong analytical and results-oriented mindset, using data to drive insights and decisions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional partners.
- High standards for quality and attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field;
- Prior experience in real estate is a plus but not required.
