JOB SUMMARY:

Plans and coordinates enterprise management personnel and oversees all other MIS (Infrastructure) related activities in support of Isuzu's business. Develops strong working relationship with all Isuzu companies, understanding their function, business, environments, and needs. Monitors and audits Isuzu's expenses and budgets. Works closely with MIS executives on strategic planning activities for future Isuzu business.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Responsible for the design, implementation, and operations of enterprise core system platforms hosting applications in both on-premises facilities and on-cloud infrastructure. Manages external vendors to ensure standards, processes, and procedures are executed to deliver systems to specifications. Works alongside architects, information security, and operational teams to deliver infrastructure services to the organization. The Infrastructure Manager will also be responsible for the development and fulfillment of strategic direction to modernize the IT infrastructure. Supports IT management in the development and fulfillment of an engineering strategy, based on the current and future overall strategic and business objectives of the organization. Evaluates the existing configuration of hardware, systems and technologies, in the context of business operations to identify any gaps in capacity or capabilities. Evaluates new technologies with a view to their integration into the organization. Shares knowledge and expertise with other functional areas of the IT organization and with the client community in an advisory capacity.
  2. Leads IT projects and programs that are high impact/high value to the organization. Acts as a communication channel for ongoing program management status and issues and setting business expectations. Interacts at high levels with clients and decision-makers both internally and externally. Works with Plan, Build and Production teams to ensure successful project delivery. Improves productivity and quality within project lifecycle and project governance. Focuses on planning and execution of large-scale projects and programs.
  3. Manages and ensures effectiveness, availability, and security of enterprise servers, including hardware, virtualization, operating systems, software, and backups. Provisions and administers server environments using best practices for enterprise customers across multiple on-premises and on-cloud offerings. Conducts research and remains current with the latest server and system technologies and solutions. Benchmarks, analyzes, reports on, and makes recommendations for the improvement and growth of the IT infrastructure regarding server systems. Develops solutions by understanding and studying systems flows, data usage, and work processes.
  4. Manages and ensures effectiveness, availability, and security of enterprise network, including hardware, Firewalls, circuits, LAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN. Provisions and administers network solutions and configurations using best practices for enterprise customers across multiple on-premises and on-cloud sites. Conducts research and remains current with the latest network and system technologies and solutions. Benchmarks, analyzes, reports on, and makes recommendations for the improvement and growth of the IT infrastructure regarding network systems. Develops solutions by understanding and studying systems flows, data usage, and work processes.
  5. Manages the development, implementation, and testing of business continuity and disaster recovery plans. Serves as subject matter expert for disaster recovery and business continuity strategy and planning. Develops and reviews disaster recovery, crisis management, or business continuity plans. Develops recovery plans for physical locations with critical assets, such as data centers. Serves as the manager and/or coordinator for continuity efforts after a disruption event. Develops emergency management plans for recovery decision making, communications, and the continuity of critical departmental processes to deal with organizational emergencies.
  6. Assists in the development of RFP's, bid proposals, contracts, scope of work reports and other documentation for infrastructure projects and associated efforts. Interacts and negotiates with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure system-related products and services.
  7. Works with stakeholders and business process areas to define business and systems requirements for new technology implementations. Designs and implements work plans to make certain server and network capacity meets existing and future requirements. Performs cost-benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed systems to aid management in making implementation decisions.
  8. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
  • Reports to: Director, IT Operations and Infrastructure

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & TRAINING
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in computer science, computer engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in Infrastructure Technology solutions, DevOps, and/or cloud technologies.
  • 3+ years working in managed services, outsourcing, and/or consulting roles (customer or provider).
  • 3+ years in management roles, including managing resources, projects, and budgets.
  • 5+ years of experience leading, managing, and supporting hybrid cloud server and network environments.
  • Experience architecting and managing enterprise servers in a hybrid cloud model (AWS, Azure, on-premises).
  • Experience architecting and managing enterprise networks in a hybrid cloud model (AWS, Azure, on-premises).
  • Certifications on AWS, VMware, Microsoft, Linux, Cisco, and/or Fortinet.
  • Experience managing cloud infrastructures running SAP and other enterprise applications.
KNOWLEDGE
  • Experience designing, implementing, and operating highly scalable and reliable platform solutions in a hybrid cloud model (AWS, Azure, on-premises).
  • Excellent knowledge of Windows and Linux server management in physical (on-premises) and virtualized (AWS, VMware) environments.
  • Advanced understanding of Active Directory, Azure AD, ADFS, Group Policies, DHCP, Radius, and certificate management.
  • Excellent knowledge of Cisco network solutions (ASA, SD-WAN, Meraki, AnyConnect, Umbrella, and Duo).
  • Capable of technical deep dives into code, networking, systems, and storage with very experienced engineers.
  • Hands-on experience managing AWS architectures and solutions, including EC2, VPC, NLB, ALB, Transit Gateway, Security Groups, AWS Backup, EDR, etc.
  • Hands-on experience managing Firewall devices and policies (Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, NSX).
  • Hands-on experience with on-premises Data Center hardware (racks, server and network equipment, cabling, UPS).
  • Excellent understanding of backup, Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity solutions (Veeam, Zerto, AWS Backup, AWS DRS).
  • Able to manage diverse teams, manage service providers, multi-task, and work under pressure to meet aggressive schedule targets.
  • Working knowledge of business administration, business processes, management practice, budgeting, capacity planning, regulatory compliance requirements, contract management, and team leadership.
  • Advanced understanding of cybersecurity solutions (Zero Trust, MFA, EDR).
  • Advanced understanding of scripting (PowerShell).

PHYSICAL STANDARDS
  • The employee must be able to access, enter, and retrieve data using a computer. This is primarily a sedentary position in a controlled office environment which requires only occasional reaching, stooping, and lifting of office files, reports or records, typically weighing 15 lbs. or less.
MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Interprets and executes policies that typically affect subordinate organizational units. Recommends modifications to operating policies.

Conducts briefings and participates in technical meetings for internal and external representatives concerning specific operations.
  • Requires minimum of five years of related experience.

Pay scale for this position is between $123,632 to $160,721. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
