Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Surgical Dental Assistant in our Durham location. The Surgical Dental Assistant will be responsible for assisting the dentists in surgical procedures, providing patient care and support, ensuring infection control protocols are followed, and assisting in general dentistry procedures. The role requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Oral Surgery and Infection Control skills
  • Patient Care skills
  • Experience as a Dental Assistant
  • Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Certification as a Dental Assistant is preferred
  • Experience with digital dental records and imaging systems is a plus
