Description

We are seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at the Heart Hospital of Austin. As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to physicians in the Surgical and Imaging departments, performing radiological and interventional procedures, and ensuring compliance with patient care standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Performing radiological and interventional procedures
  • Coordinating and assisting in patient care
  • Evaluating patient condition and explaining procedures
  • Providing direct patient care and maintaining a safe environment
  • Communicating with medical staff and maintaining equipment

Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology
  • Current Medical Radiologic Technologist certification with Texas Medical Board
  • American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) certification
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
  • One to two years of experience in a healthcare setting
