Technical Project Manager, Specialist (The Vanguard Group, Inc. / Malvern, PA) -- Responsible for successful implementation of multi-year technology portfolio modernization program critical to enterprise strategic objectives; apply deep technical expertise and experience to ensure successful divisional modernization program in tandem with technical and analytics leaders across division; develop and maintain broad knowledge and awareness of Financial Services industry forces, competition, and trends to assess viability of approaches and strategies to technology-related programs; communicate with stakeholders, leaders, team members, management, and department partners to ensure that requirements and priorities are understood; monitor project progress and results and submit regular status reports to management and internal and external stakeholders; build and maintain relationships across program stakeholders and proactively foster effective communication between internal and external parties; drive key decisions to ensure alignment with overarching goals across stakeholders; ensure all steps are taken to mitigate risk and maintain control, compliance, audit, and legal requirements on technology projects; maintain an appropriate level of technical and business knowledge to support program implementation; utilize strong understanding of technical aspects of software development together with business and data understanding; and employ excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills. Requires Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Science or Engineering, or closely related IT field and five years of experience in job offered or in IT positions including IT Project Manager and/or Project Manager and/or Associate Consultant. Background in education, training or experience must include Program Management, Technical Project Management, Portfolio Management, Multi-vendor Management, Strategic Planning & Execution, Delivery Management, Project Planning & Governance, ServiceNow, Proofpoint, Bamboo, Bit Bucket, Tableau, Jira, Workday, Salesforce, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), Splunk, PagerDuty, DataStage, My-SQL, AWS, Python, Microsoft Teams, Outlook 365, Microsoft Excel, SailPoint, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Cybersecurity. Company operates on hybrid model with three days in office and work-from-home available two days.
