The Product Owner will ensure that the products meet the business requirements set out by the Product Manager, Sales Team and Project Sponsors.

Work as the Product Owner for your assigned Product, and work hand in hand with the development sprint team. Use Agile best practices to ensure that we are able to meet the development requirements of customers. Be available to give expert guidance to team members where needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Requirements Gathering & Analysis:
    • Collaborate with stakeholders, including business users and technical teams, to gather and document detailed business, functional, and system requirements.
    • Conduct thorough analysis of business processes and workflows to identify opportunities for system improvements and automation.
  • System & Functional Specifications:
    • Develop clear, detailed, and comprehensive system and functional specifications that serve as a blueprint for system design and development.
    • Create process models, data flow diagrams, and other documentation to support system analysis and design.
  • Implementation Support:
    • Work closely with developers and system engineers to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly.
    • Participate in the design, development, testing, and deployment of enterprise solutions.
    • Assist in the creation of test cases and scenarios to validate system functionality against requirements.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
    • Serve as a liaison between business units and technical teams to ensure clear communication and understanding of requirements and project goals.
    • Conduct regular meetings and presentations to update stakeholders on project progress and gather feedback.
  • Documentation & Training:
    • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for systems, processes, and procedures.
    • Provide training and support to end-users to ensure successful adoption of new systems and functionalities.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Conduct system level acceptance and quality assurance to ensure that solutions meet business needs and requirements.
    • Identify, document, and resolve any issues or discrepancies during the testing phase.
Qualifications:
  • Education & Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a complex product and technology environment.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of system analysis and design methodologies.
    • Proficiency in writing clear and detailed functional and system requirements.
    • Familiarity with business process modeling and data analysis tools.
    • Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., DevOps, JIRA, Aha Or Confluence) and diagramming software (e.g., Visio).
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
    • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
