Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Event Assistant. In this role, you will assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of events, providing support to the Event Manager and team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start their career in the event planning industry and gain hands-on experience in organizing various events such as corporate functions, weddings, conferences, and social gatherings.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the planning, setup, and coordination of events.
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth execution of event logistics.
  • Help with on-site event setup, including decorations, seating arrangements, and audiovisual equipment.
  • Welcome guests and ensure they are directed to the appropriate areas during events.
  • Monitor event activities and provide immediate support to resolve any issues that arise.
  • Assist with post-event activities, including breakdown and evaluation of the event's success.
  • Maintain and update event databases and records.
  • Provide general office and administrative support as needed.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or related field is a plus).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
