Purpose Reporting directly to the Associate Vice President of CPS, the Executive Director leads revenue cycle operations including coding and charge capture, billing and collections, and registration services. MCW has been recognized as a national leader in revenue cycle operations and is consistently ranked in the top decile by Vizient Clinical Practice Solutions Center. The incoming Executive Director will lead a dedicated and experienced team of professionals to strategically position the organization for further efficiencies and growth related to the capture, management, and collection of patient service professional fee revenues. Directs and coordinates the efforts of professional services revenue cycle staff in the management of clinical revenue-producing activities for one or more Group Practices. Develop departmental best practices and policies related to professional services billing activities (registration services, coding & charge capture, and billing and collections). Evaluates and advises on revenue enhancement opportunities, long range planning, new clinical programs/strategies and regulatory actions. Represent professional services revenue cycle in Epic Optimization efforts with Health System Partners. Develops and executes a comprehensive strategy that will deliver: Cash Collections yield of 100% NPSR Reduction in percent of A/R over 90 days old Avoidable Write off improvement Reduction in Gross Days Revenue Outstanding Incremental Net Revenue Enhancement Maintains key relationships with Practice leadership, clinical department chairs, clinical department administrators, and MCW administration to ensure that customer needs are met.
