Job Description The main function of a Warehouse Supervisor is to oversee warehouse employees to meet business objectives for assigned departments regarding safety, quality productivity, responsiveness, and more. Hard Skills Experience directly supervising and managing employees Ability to lead and motivate others Proficiency in performing progressive discipline (verbal counseling, write-up, termination) Familiarity with Quality Network problem-solving process Knowledge of Workplace Organization (WPO) process Experience with Timekeeping System (TKS) updating Proficiency in using A-3 reporting format Ability to conduct and document safety observation tours Proficiency in performing daily SOP audit checks Soft Skills Counseling and supporting employees with their needs and concerns Commending positive performance behaviors and discouraging negative ones Engaging workforce for ideas and problem-solving Conducting daily meetings for two-way communication Planning daily workloads in advance Supporting colleagues to optimize shift performance Observing contractual requirements Keeping General Supervisor Shop Committee informed About Aerotek: We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
