NTT DATA Services is currently looking for a Senior Azure Cloud Architect to join our team in Falls Church, VA

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cloud Architect with expertise in Azure Cloud. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Azure cloud architecture, infrastructure, and services, along with hands-on experience in designing and implementing advanced cloud solutions. As a Senior Azure Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for designing and delivering secure, scalable, and highly available cloud architectures that can integrate with customer's ServiceNow and cross-functional services. You will also lead the Enterprise Architecture and related services under customer's Cloud Governance Enterprise Technical Architecture. Each month, you will also need to work with customer related agencies to help them in their applications planning for migrating to our managed Azure Cloud environment, which including related consulting, cost analysis, using Azure Cloud Price Calculator to help customer better understand the benefit and best approach to migrate their Applications and Data into Azure cloud.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with customers on Azure Cloud managed service activities to confirm (and document accordingly) Azure Cloud architecture, roadmap, capacity planning, and required cost optimization.
  • Responsible for designing and delivering secure, scalable, and highly available cloud architectures that can integrate with customer's ServiceNow and cross-functional services, which includes integration with agency's Cloud Broker Technology Integrator.
  • Lead Enterprise Architecture and related services under customer's Cloud Governance Enterprise Technical Architecture.
  • Lead innovation and propose cost effective solutions for customer.
  • Provide solution for customer required Architecture for Service Request.
  • Work with Security Architect to deliver customer required security solutions, including Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Sentinel, and related integration with Agency security tools, such as Splunk.
  • Work with customer related agencies to help them in their applications planning for migrating to our managed Azure Cloud environment, which including related consulting, cost analysis, using Azure Cloud Price Calculator to help customer better understand the benefit and best approach to migrate their Applications and Data into Azure cloud.
  • Work with our Cloud Support team in related incident resolution.
  • Provide Azure Cloud network architecture and solutions.
  • Provide Cloud Storage solutions and architecture
  • Create new documentation and processes as needed to help refine, optimize, and/or to establish processes as customer required

Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Master's Degree in an Information Technology or equivalent
  • At least 7 years professional experience in Azure Cloud Solution Architecture with Successful Delivery Past Performance
  • Certified Microsoft Azure Cloud Architect or equivalent certificate, An Enterprise Architect Certificate will be a plus
  • Strong expertise in US government security compliance
  • Expert in applications and databases migration to Azure Cloud
  • Expert in Microsoft Azure Calculator for customer required cost model generation and improvement
  • Expert in Cloud Cost Analysis and Cost Optimization
  • Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and effective problem-solving skills
