Job Responsibilities:

  • Hiring and supervising all service department personnel.
  • Monitor, track, and train department personnel on their performance.
  • Create goals and objectives for the service department personnel.
  • Maintain and/or create a positive work environment for the service department personnel.
  • Build the department culture to promote customer lifetime owner loyalty.
  • Performing necessary training on administrative policies and procedures for all department personnel.
  • Enforce technical training on new systems and components offered by the automotive manufacturers.
  • Keeping up-to-date on manufacturer warranty and policy procedures while serving as a liaison with the factory representatives.
  • Maintain the highest Customer Service Index (CSI) rating from customers by handling customer complaints immediately and according to dealership policy.
Job Requirements:
  • Previous manager experience preferred.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements
  • Knowledge of an able to train employees on federal, state, and local regulations with respect to hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know.
