Are you a passionate Harley-Davidson enthusiast looking to lead a high-performing sales team? McGrath Dubuque Harley Davidson is seeking a results-driven Sales Manager to drive sales growth and deliver exceptional customer experiences.


We're looking for a seasoned leader who can motivate and develop a team of sales professionals to achieve our sales goals. As a Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for building relationships with peers and upper management, recruiting and retaining top sales talent, and driving the company's brand loyalty through sales leadership and customer connection.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Motivating the team through our company's vision and direction to encompass our mission statement
  • Building relationships with peers and upper management
  • Recruiting, hiring, developing, and retaining top sales talent
  • Communicating clear expectations and holding the team accountable to achieve all brand, performance, and behavior standards
  • Driving the company's brand loyalty through sales leadership, coaching, and customer connection
  • Managing the execution of the current sales process to deliver a premium customer experience
  • Maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction with the ability to handle all customer interaction with an award-winning smile and a positive attitude
  • Leading daily meetings with staff to review individual and department goals
  • Following and implementing markdown strategies to maintain motorcycle inventory at industry benchmarks
  • Leading continuous improvement efforts that support annual sales goals and cost control
  • Communicating and planning with the General Manager to arrive at daily/monthly sales goals
  • Planning, implementing, and regulating promotions
  • Increasing gross and net profit for the Motorcycle and Finance Department
  • Leading and inspiring a remarkable customer service culture by recognizing and rewarding


Requirements include:

  • Prior management experience required
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to develop a team
  • Harley-Davidson enthusiast - Knowledge and/or passion for the Harley-Davidson brand
  • Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate a sales team
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including Saturdays and evenings
