The Trade Show Manager will lead and manage our global trade show agenda, maintain a working trade show budget, communicate internally with multiple departments on pre and post-show communications, and summary reports on activity and lead gen. This role is also responsible for vendor negotiations, channel marketing strategies, and management of conferences, tradeshows, and some digital events.
The right candidate will be someone who has a gift for managing multiple large-scale projects and delivering results with a "can do" approach to problem solving. The candidate will lead and oversee all aspects of event planning, management, and delivery. The goal for this position is to effectively execute and manage physical and digital events, achieve demand generation objectives, and advance brand awareness and industry recognition.

Responsibilities
This position is primarily responsible for event management and delivery in support of commercial growth priorities and go to market objectives for our software and services. Timely and effective project management will be critical to successfully establishing a best-in-class event program that delivers value to customers and prospects and achieves our commercial goals. We are seeking an effective communicator, have a passion for results, and a desire to create a truly outstanding event program.
We want to hire someone who is motivated by opportunity. If you are up to this challenge, your contributions to our team in the first year will include the following:
- Plan, manage, and execute our physical and digital event schedule, including industry events, tradeshows, commercial conferences, and customer events to build brand recognition and increase demand generation.
- Prepare and execute a complete marketing plan for each event, conference, and tradeshow. Work with business functions across the company including Marketing, Sales, Product Strategy, and Customer Service to determine objectives and requirements for each event.
- Direct and implement strategies to increase engagement and interaction with target markets for each event, including current, past, prospective, and VIP customers.
- Work with product strategy leaders to generate appropriate content for events, and manage the creative process to develop specific messaging, collateral, and support materials.
- Plan and execute event communications to meet participation and attendance goals, support marketing efforts for targeted public relations and publicity, and generate awareness through available channels including Internet, mail, print, and social media.
- Integrate event activity with other sales and marketing initiatives, and collaborate with sales and marketing leaders to drive event attendance, share leads, and track results.
- Manage and arrange meetings, demonstrations, and booth tours with existing customers and pre-qualified prospects to support product introductions and generate sales leads
- Prepare and manage event budgets, ensure compliance to budget, reconcile expenses for each event, and recommend and implement ideas to reduce costs.
- Identify and manage the mix of events to support and attain lead generation, customer acquisition, customer retention, and education objectives.
- Create event delivery standards and develop consistent measures to track and report event results.
- Maintain accurate inventory of event collateral, content, and promotional items, and refresh inventory as needed (seek bids, request for purchase, approval).
- 5+ years project management experience in event planning and delivery
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
