THE OPPORTUNITY

SANY is looking to recruit a self-driven, forward-thinking, hands-on and highly motivated Warranty Admin. With the deep investment and backing of SANY Group, the United States business expects to grow significantly in the coming years. Critical to this growth is the addition of a highly qualified Warranty AdminThe successful candidate will be responsible to independently process warranty claim requests, answer questions, and adjudicate warranty claims received from dealers and customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

This role will report to the Warranty Manager to ensure an effective strategy is executed. This will require:

  • Independently analyze and process warranty claims and data accurately and according to warranty policy in electronic and written formats within designated timeframes.
  • Periodically review and update warranty policies and processes as may be required by changing needs or business decisions and as approved by management
  • Strike a balance between the needs of the customer and warranty policies while maintaining highest degrees of customer satisfaction.
  • Provide professional warranty support for dealers over the phone and in written communications.
  • Address warranty concerns professionally and positively.
  • Maintain critical records such as electronic databases and hard copy files.
  • Understand key product features, product performance and function and maintain knowledge of the business
  • Provide warranty technical support to units both in and out of the warranty period
  • Develop meaningful partnerships with all applicable stakeholder groups, including (but not limited to) Product Engineering, Quality, Sales, and Field Service
  • Analyze and report on warranty data, trends, cost and recovery on a regular basis and as agreed
  • Assist with the recovery of warranty cost from suppliers
  • Other duties as assigned by management
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

The Warranty Admin will need to be hands-on and collaborative. This individual will have ability to communicate effectively with dealers, suppliers and internal team members. The candidate will need to demonstrate success in implementing new initiatives and opportunities along with problem solving and continuously improving existing operations.

The ideal candidate will have:
  • 2+ years of practical experience in OEM warranty processing
  • High energy with a sense of urgency; be resilient and self-confident
  • Very high degree of customer focus
  • Expert level knowledge of MS Excel, proficient in MS Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge and experience working with SAP and Salesforce strongly preferred
  • Ability to plan and execute projects and communicate with cross-functional teams.
  • Motivated to identify waste, propose improvements and support implementation of improvement projects.
  • Strong communication, presentation and teamwork skills with the ability to build trust and credibility globally which includes winning approval from various stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate a high degree of creativity and mature judgement in anticipating and solving unique and unstructured problems.
  • Process driven, detailed oriented, results driven and self-motivated
  • Must be able to see, hear, walk, kneel, work at computers uninterruptedly for longer periods of time,
  • Must be able to fluently and clearly express him/herself in spoken and written English.
  • Willingness and aptitude for detailed work

  • Inter-departmental: Training & Development, Engineering, Regional Business Managers, District Sales Managers, Parts, Marketing, Product Managers, Accounting, Sales Operations
  • External: Dealers, Customers, 3rd Party Attachments providers
EDUCATION
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or Manufacturing science or relevant field strongly preferred, Associate Degree acceptable
  • Technical knowledge of heavy equipment


COMPENSATION

Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience. It will include a base salary, an annual performance bonus, and other exceptional benefits.
