Additionally, the Administrative Assistant supports program goals by assisting with outreach efforts, tracking program data, and ensuring compliance with organizational and funding requirements. This position plays a vital role in helping individuals and families achieve financial empowerment and long-term stability.
Hourly Pay Rate: $17.50
Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Location: Mesa, AZ
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associate or bachelor's degree, preferred .
- Must be Bilingual - English/Spanish required
- One (1) year of clerical/administrative support experience required.
- Knowledge or experience in economic development, preferred.
- Attend and actively contribute to weekly staff and training meetings. Develop and maintain records and files in an organized, accurate manner.
- Perform clerical and administrative duties for program staff including filing, typing, composing, drafting and preparing correspondence/memorandums, and compiling a variety of reports.
- Perform tasks with a strong attention to detail and in an organized manner; effectively handle multiple projects at the same time. Possess knowledge and understanding of standard office equipment.
- Process incoming calls, screen, research and respond to requests; refer calls to appropriate personnel and retrieve voice mail.
- Notify staff as to meetings and/or trainings available and dates, along with agency compliance requirements and other pertinent information.
- Complete all data entry for client intake procedures and maintain participant scheduling as designated by program.
- Actively participate in the orientation and training of new or temporary staff. Generate applicable monthly reports as dictated by program needs. Assist program staff with special projects including data gathering, data analysis and summary reporting.
- Receive and assist visitors and telephone callers, screen and prioritize calls, assist visitors or callers whenever possible or direct to the appropriate individual or department as needed.
- Attend occasional evening and weekend tabling events. Drive personal vehicle to conduct program business.
- Class One Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Valid Driver's License with reliable transportation, required
- Current Auto Liability Insurance, required
- 39 Month Motor Vehicle Record, required
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Pay Type Hourly
