About the Role • Ability to resolve support calls within the defined SLA. • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals. • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner. • Provide technical support to end-users, including diagnosing and resolving technical problems. • Set up and maintain user accounts, permissions, and security settings. • Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks to ensure optimal performance and security. Your Responsibilities • Collaborate with other IT team members to implement and maintain IT policies and procedures. • Document IT processes, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing. • Conducts floor level training on new equipment. • Flexible Shift – Based on Department Manager’s Needs. Must be able to support weekend production. • Complete and communicate end of shift notes including issues seen on the floor and project completion updates. • Visibly leads and supports all Norplas goals as set forth in objectives and targets. Who we are looking for • High school diploma or equivalent • Proven experience as an IT Technician or in a similar role. • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts. • Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. • Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems. • Knowledge of retrieving data from a database using SELECT statements, including filtering, sorting, and limiting results. Your preferred qualifications Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP). Experience in the automotive industry or a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of automotive-specific software applications and systems.
