JOB SUMMARY

Assist local FTS Technicians in completing projects, installing computer equipment, and running service calls. Work alone, under guidance, and drive between several locations on a daily basis, performing these duties.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Work closely with lead in running service calls, Installing computer and printer hardware
  • Provide first level of service to client in troubleshooting and installation
  • Maintain knowledge with accurate and up to date information relating to current policies, procedures and techniques.
  • Assure implementation-based protocols are met.
  • Update database regarding resolution of issues and techs progress while completing work within the store
  • Ability to multi-task to accomplish workload efficiently
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
  • 1+ years of experience in installation of computers and printer hardware
  • Valid Texas Drivers license
  • Reliable transportation to travel to destinated location
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products-Word, Excel, and Access

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS Requires sitting for long periods of time. Some bending, stretching or reaching required. Requires the physical dexterity to operate a keyboard, calculator, telephone, copier and other office equipment as necessary. Requires ability to perform data entry functions for 95% of the scheduled work shift and perform duties in a fast-paced environment with high demands and tight deadlines. Requires ability to view computer monitor for long periods of time without eyestrain.
