Position Summary:

The Quality Control Assistant is critical player in Globus’ quality operations, ensuring the correct parts and product make it into our manufacturing & service processes, as well as into our customers’ hands. This individual works to coordinate movement of materials and inspect parts and product, ensuring smooth operation of quality inspection activities.

Hours: 7:30am-4:00pm, 45 min lunch.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Bulk movement of parts in order to maintain WIP by first-in-first-out (FIFO) principles

  • Processing all received materials into quality inspection area, including physical movement of product

  • Must be forklift certified or willing/able to become certified in first 60 days of employment

  • Identify priority inspection products, escalate to quality inspectors

  • Entering

  • Maintaining Finish Goods Warehouse in a clean and orderly manner

  • Adhering to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies. Ensure Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and

regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role

  • Representing the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties of Globus.

In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Minimum one-year experience working in a Finished Goods Warehouse environment

  • Ability to follow procedures as well as take initiative; team player

  • Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office), human resources application (Workday)

  • Strong communication, interpersonal skills
