Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team Therapist

Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team Therapist Position Summary:

The position is part of an interdisciplinary team that provides quality evidenced based practices to clients living in the community struggling with behavioral health issues. This is a full-time position.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide high quality treatment using ACT evidenced bases practices.
  • Complete all regulatory documentation for client treatment.
  • Plan and carry out individual and group therapy relative to the client's needs.
  • Responsible for coordinating treatment and stabilization with identified natural supports and with community service providers.
Qualifications, Education and Experience:
  • Current licensed mental health professional. Must possess a Maryland license of LGPC, LCPC, LMSW, or LCSW-C. Applicants who do not have a license may also apply pending receipt of the required license.
  • Highly developed organizational and communication skills.
  • Current CPR and First Aid.
  • Full valid driver's license and safe driving record is required.
  • Privileged to carry out all duties, including client treatment coordination.
