About the Role: The City of Cambridge is seeking a skilled CARE Clinician to provide clinical support for the Community Assistance Response and Engagement (CARE) team. The CARE Clinician will work closely with CARE Responders to provide immediate and follow-up support to individuals in crisis. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a team that embodies a growth mindset and values compassion, empathy, and restorative practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical support to CARE Responders, including guidance on evidence-based practices and treatment plans.
- Support community members in urgent crisis situations, providing immediate attention over the phone and in-person.
- Accompany CARE Responders on calls to provide additional support and guidance.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Requirements: The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical support, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
