Here's what you'll do day-to-day:

  • Learn the challenging domain of withholding taxes
  • Communicate with stakeholders on a regular basis
  • Collaborate with seasoned engineers to work on new product features
  • Work on a scrum team to deliver bug fixes in a timely manner
Here's what we're looking for:
  • 2-4+ years of full stack experience
  • Experience with Angular, React
  • Exposure to backend development - Java, Spring boot a plus
  • SQL and fundamentals of relational database design (MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL)
  • Experience with AWS service a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a fast-paced team environment
  • Strong work ethic supported by solid time-management skills
  • Passionate about creating memorable experiences for customers
  • Interest in complex product development problems
  • Appreciation for a collaborative, test-driven environment
  • Experience turning wireframes and mockups into elegantly executed code
  • Well-structured, easily maintainable, well-documented code that balances beauty and pragmatism

Our cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $107,000/yr to $133,000/yr in Scottsdale. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.

Symmetry has a physical office space in Scottsdale. Employees who are based in those locations will be expected to work from the office on designated days approximately 2-3 days per week (or more depending on role).

When approved to work from a location other than the office, a secure, reliable, and consistent internet connection is required.
