We’re looking for a personable, enthusiastic insurance account manager to help take our agency to the next level. Our ideal candidate is a motivated team player who has the ability to stay focused in a fast-paced work environment. You will manage client communications, nurture important relationships, and keep track of policy details and documentation in a secured system. This is a critical role on our team with a strong focus on client services to foster ongoing sales and renewals. Apply now Responsibilities: • Consult with clients to help process quotes and issue renewals or any updates needed to current policies • Communicate regularly with key industry reps regarding industry standards, insurance products, current rates, coverages, insurance policies, and carriers so that you are always ready to help clients, underwriters, sales representatives, account executives, and the rest of our service team understand and address new rules and policy updates • Facilitate communication with clients and claims adjusters to process all documentation reporting a claim on a current policy • Record any policy updates or changes on customer accounts by tracking them in our book of business and communicating with clients to explain any updates to their coverage • Answer clients completely on policy or billing questions including explanations about their coverage or rate adjustments to ensure total understanding • Retain existing customers by providing excellent customer experiences • Help Budzisz Agency grow by using techniques to sell insurance products to new customers • Become familiar with accounts and claim activity • Proactively cross-sell to provide additional coverage to existing customers • Prepare quotations and applications to close sales • Manage assigned accounts including marketing to carriers, binding coverage, issuing renewals, producing evidence of insurance, etc. • Help maintain common workflow • Troubleshoot claims and billing issues • Develop new business from existing accounts and assigned leads and contribute to meeting production goals • Appropriately documents conversations with clients and carrier representatives and updates all agency systems when necessary • Complete other duties as assigned Qualifications: • We are looking for candidates with an Associates or Bachelor’s degree but will consider those with relevant insurance industry experience, as well • Insurance experience as an insurance agent or other position is highly preferred but candidates with the appropriate skills should still apply, training is provided • Applicants must have an active insurance license in their state or be willing to get licensed in 90 days • Candidates should have basic computer skills and be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel PowerPoint, etc.) • Must have very strong follow up, written and verbal communication skills and problem-solving skills Compensation: $53,500 yearly
