Data Support Specialist

Supervisor: Director of Data and Assessment

Terms: 247 days, 7.5 hours per day
  • Maintain the district data warehouse
  • Administration and oversight of Link Portal
  • Complete State Reports with collaboration with appropriate parties
  • Upload assessment results to the appropriate database in a timely manner
  • Assist administration with disaggregating, compiling, analyzing, and presenting data
  • Act as the backup to the PowerSchool Administrator
  • Attend workshops and trainings as appropriate and assigned by the Director of Data and Assessment
  • Assist with training for school and district administrators, non certified staff, and teachers as needed and appropriate
  • Learn about new features and updates in software programs and systems maintained by this position, and utilize as appropriate based on best practices
  • Provide training to district and school administrators, teachers, and non certified staff including but not limited to:
    • Scheduling support of all K-12 schedules at each school
    • Gradebook training
    • Report training
    • Demonstrating and teaching new features
  • Assist the Director of Data and Assessment with data, reporting, and analysis training to staff members through various modes of learning such as one-on-one, group, video, virtual, etc
  • Collaborate with the District Data Team and other district personnel (Director of Data and Assessment, PowerSchool Specialist, PowerSchool Schedulers, Curriculum, Instruction, and Learning District Team, etc)
  • Communicate with teachers, support staff, school and district communicators as appropriate
  • Complete all assessment rostering for (ILEARN, IREAD, NWEA, PSAT, SAT, ect)
  • Any other duties as assigned by the Director of Data and Assessment
