We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Financial Data Insights Specialist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting complex financial and business data to support decision-making processes across departments. This role requires a strong understanding of financial concepts, advanced proficiency with data analysis tools, and the ability to communicate findings effectively to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Collection & Analysis: Collect, clean, and analyze large sets of financial and operational data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to support long-term financial planning and resource allocation.
  • Financial Metrics & KPIs: Develop and monitor key financial and performance indicators (KPIs) to track business performance and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Business Intelligence: Use data analytics tools and techniques (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI) to extract, analyze, and visualize business data for management review.
  • Trend Analysis: Perform trend analysis on financial and business data to identify areas of improvement, cost-saving opportunities, and revenue growth strategies.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve data accuracy, timeliness, and reporting efficiency.
  • Ad-hoc Analysis: Provide analytical support for special projects, financial investigations, and strategic initiatives as requested by management.
  • Data Integrity & Compliance: Ensure data integrity and compliance with internal policies, financial regulations, and industry standards.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, data analysis, or a related role or previous public accounting experience.
  • Skills & Proficiency:
    • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, complex formulas).
    • Experience with financial software and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SQL, SAP, or similar tools).
    • Solid understanding of financial statements, financial modeling, and budgeting processes.
    • Knowledge of statistical analysis and data visualization techniques.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to perform detailed financial analysis, identify key trends, and present findings clearly.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain complex financial data to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy when working with data and financial reports.
  • Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and work well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
What We Offer:
  • $85,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience
