The Software Engineer or Senior Software Engineer will function as a developer for web and desktop applications, including design, development, and quality control, as well as troubleshooting and maintaining existing applications.They will also contribute to major initiatives adhering to industry trends.

What will you do?

  • Design, create, and maintain applications that support the ratings and issuance of insurance policies

  • Work closely with the team by participating in Scrum events, and work on user stories, fixes, enhancements, and code reviews.

  • Contributes to the development of software solutions, ensuring they meet quality and performance standards.

  • Works closely with the development team to enhance understanding of the codebase and development processes.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or related field

  • Minimum 3+ years of SQL and .NET experience (5+ years for senior)

  • Experience with Azure DevOps and related tools

  • Experience designing and creating APIs

  • Experience with secure coding and security best practices
