VP Strategic Partnerships AdventHealth EFD

It is required that the candidate serve the mission of Extending the Healing Ministry of Christ and demonstrate proficiency in the AdventHealth executive leadership competencies.
We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a VP Strategic Partnerships position for AdventHealth East Florida Division.
GENERAL SUMMARY :
Reporting to the Division CEO, the VP of Strategic Partnerships provides executive leadership in identifying and growing vital, influential relationships with business and community leaders in the East Florida Division (EFD) markets for the purpose of strengthening support of AdventHealth’s mission, philanthropic efforts and growth, The VP of Strategic Partnerships represents AdventHealth as a community liaison and spokesperson, cultivating resilient relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. This role provides executive leadership in the development of major community philanthropic and outreach strategies, and forming partnerships with internal business and community stakeholders. The VP ensures that AdventHealth leaders are well-represented and actively involved in the communities they serve. The VP works collaboratively with multiple departments across the AdventHealth care continuum. Core responsibilities include providing executive direction, supervision, and evaluation of Strategic Partnerships, the Foundations, and to achieve agreed-upon deliverables.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

Identifying and cultivating relationships with influential business leaders and decision makers in the existing and new markets, and leveraging them for economic development, philanthropy, and advocacy.

Collaborating and communicating with the existing teams and roles that are involved in community relations, such as marketing, community benefit, governmental affairs and business development, creating a cohesive and integrated strategy that aligns with AdventHealth's vision and mission.

To be more aggressive in pursuing private and state funding for transformative programs that align with AdventHealth's goals and vision.

Developing and executing a government relations strategy for each market that includes meeting with key legislators, identifying their priorities and interests, and aligning AdventHealth's goals with them.

Coordinating and prioritizing the attendance and participation of AdventHealth leaders and team members in signature community events, and ensuring a strong and consistent presence and representation of AdventHealth's brand and values.

Managing the transitions and introductions of new CEOs and other leaders in the markets, and providing them with guidance and support on the key players, issues, and opportunities in their communities. Demonstrate core values.

Provide executive leadership to develop and promote a high quality, cost efficient and strategically integrated North Region philanthropic program aimed at achieving performance metrics aligned with market potential.

Develop and execute clear short-term and long-term plans that are both realistic and challenging to help maintain a continual stream of philanthropic support and engaged donors.

Participate with key Hospital Administrators and Physician leaders in Strategic Planning Process to ensure fundraising priorities are aligned with the key initiatives.

Provide executive leadership and guidance to build and maintain strong volunteer Foundation Boards, challenging them to raise awareness and funds to support the facilities while adhering to the by-laws and policies of the business. Boards should include physicians, community leaders and philanthropists.

Help develop, monitor and report on the annual budgets and performance.
