Responsibilities
  • Manage current systems from email to file sharing and enhance network for future growth and expansion
  • Implement and manage the operational aspects of cloud-native and hybrid data platform solutions built on Microsoft Azure data services and Microsoft SQL Server
  • Analyze current network structure and provide recommendations to executive team to increase efficiency
  • Develop innovative network troubleshooting methods that reduce downtime 
  • Create and manage projects that are designed to add functionality to address ongoing network failure issues and efficiency of systems
  • Monitor the network firewall, accessing the functionality of all network routers
  • Implement security measures and monitor security certificates and compliance
  • Monitoring the local area network (LAN) for threats or errors
  • Manage users and access to the intranet
  • Install and update company software and hardware as needed
  • Provide remediation for system availability and performance incidents
  • Responsible for creating and administering disaster plans that will keep the company functional in the event of a crisis
  • Respond and resolve support requests via tickets and phone calls within response time SLAs
  • Perform support ticket escalation resolution for other team members
  • Assist in the configuration of patching and monitoring of servers and services
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience of relevant operating systems, software and programming
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or related degree
  • CCNA/CCNP/Azure Administration/Microsoft365 Administration/Microsoft SQL Server Administration/Windows Server Administration certifications or equivalent experience a plus
  • Experience with SQL databases, web servers, and/or Cisco routers and switches preferred
  • Experience with Windows Server, Windows-based networking, Active Directory, account management and system recovery tools and concepts
  • Strong understanding of Infrastructure, server and network design, configuration and administration
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Server or Exchange Online configuration and administration
  • Strong knowledge of Group Policy Management (GPO) and Local Security Policies
  • Comprehensive understanding of network architecture and client/server technology
  • Aptitude for understanding and troubleshooting technical problems
  • Possess strong decision making and time management skills
