Position: Front Desk Coordinator

Location: Onsite in NW Portland, OR

Type: Full-time, Monday through Friday

Duration: 3-4 month contract with potential of extension or to become permanent

Pay: $19-$22 per hour DOE

Job Summary:

The Front Desk Coordinator is the first point of contact for LHH Recruitment's client and plays a crucial role in managing the flow of people through the business and ensuring all reception responsibilities are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner. Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
  • Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
  • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material
  • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
  • Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries
  • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk
  • Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing
  • Support the Human Resources team with spreadsheets and reporting

Requirements:

  • High school degree, GED or equivalent required
  • At least 6 months to a year of office experience in a Front Desk or Administrative role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Professional and psoitive attitude
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Customer service attitude
