Responsibilities Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the office Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls Provide basic and accurate dental information in-person and via phone/email Perform other clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, emailing, and faxing Verify insurance information Phone in prescriptions to pharmacies Confirm patient appointments Skills Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.i.: fax machines and printers) Professional attitude and appearance Team Player Solid written and verbal communication skills Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise Excellent organizational skills Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks High school Diploma or equivalent
