Blue Grass Motorsport is currently looking for an experienced HR/Payroll Specialist. The ideal candidate for this position would be detail oriented and have strong organizational skills. This position requires the ability to multi-task in a deadline oriented environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Meticulous calculations and preparation of bi-weekly payroll for 100+ employees
  • Calculate, prepare, and file monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll tax returns
  • Benefit Administration including all medical and other insurances, 401K, HSA, sick and vacation records
  • Ensure accurate posting of all items over to general ledger
  • Work with owners and managers on all HR issues
  • Administer worker’s comp insurance
  • Assist managers in hiring and onboarding all new employees
  • Account Reconciliations

Requirements

  • Proven ability to interpret various pay plans and calculate checks
  • High level of accuracy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are needed
  • High level of integrity, experience and professionalism working with sensitive and confidential information
  • Possessing a Bachelor’s or Associates degree is favorable
  • Having dealership experience is a positive
  • Ability to work extended hours as needed
  • Must pass a background check and drug screen
