To help us continue expanding our offerings, we're seeking for a talented and motivated Data Science Intern to join our team. You will be involved in data collection, data cleaning, model development, and analysis, contributing to various projects across the company. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data science, develop advanced analytics skills, and make a tangible impact in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
  • Data Collection and Preprocessing:
    • Assist in collecting, cleaning, and organizing large datasets from various sources (internal databases, external APIs, etc.).
    • Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover trends, patterns, and anomalies in the data.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and define data requirements for projects.
  • Model Development and Analysis:
    • Support developing and deploying machine learning models to address business challenges.
    • Help design and implement predictive models, classification models, and clustering algorithms.
    • Test and validate models using appropriate statistical methods and metrics.
  • Data Visualization & Reporting:
    • Create insightful data visualizations and dashboards to present findings and support decision-making using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Python visualization libraries (Matplotlib, Seaborn).
    • Generate reports to communicate data-driven insights clearly and effectively to stakeholders across the organization.
  • Automation & Optimization:
    • Assist in automating data processing workflows, including data collection, cleaning, and model updates.
    • Develop scripts and tools to streamline analysis and reporting tasks.
    • Identify areas for process improvement in data handling, analysis, and model implementation.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
    • Work closely with product teams, and engineers to deliver actionable insights.
    • Participate in team meetings, share findings, and present updates on progress to leadership.
    • Contribute to discussions around data-driven strategies and optimization opportunities.
Qualifications

Qualifications we're looking for.
  • Education:
    • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis and modeling.
    • Experience with data manipulation tools like Pandas, NumPy, or similar libraries.
    • Familiarity with machine learning libraries such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch.
    • Experience with SQL for querying databases and working with large datasets.
    • Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Python libraries (Matplotlib, Seaborn).
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms such as Azure stack (Kusto/dashboards etc) for data processing and storage.
