About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Insights Expert to join our team at American Automobile Association. This is a challenging role that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have a solid foundation in statistics and data analysis, with experience working with large datasets and extracting insights from complex data sets. Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R is required, as well as experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining predictive models to forecast business outcomes.
  • Analyzing complex business problems and developing data-driven solutions using statistical models and machine learning algorithms.
  • Mentoring junior data analysts and providing guidance on best practices and industry trends.
  • Communicating complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring effective decision-making.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as mathematics, statistics, or computer science.
  • At least 5 years of experience working in a data science role, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R, as well as experience with data visualization tools like Tableau.
Benefits and Salary

This is a full-time position with a salary range of $130,000 - $170,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer comprehensive benefits, including health coverage, 401(k) matching, and tuition assistance.
